Description
Our world is becoming more hostile to Christianity in many places. It is important for believers to be equipped to share the truth of the Bible and science. As an individual studies apologetics they can feel confident in their ability to engage with atheists in an intellectual manner. The believer should not quarrel with others about apologetics. This will only drive them away. The best testimony is how Christ has changed our life. Since "apologetics" means "a defense," we share Christ with confidence as we present the facts about truth, the Bible and the resurrection.
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear" (NKJV).
Purchase of "I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist" by Norman Geisler is required for this course. You may find the textbook available online at resources.pcg.org
